NBA Cares and the All-Star Game.

The NBA keeps talking about NBA cares and how it is helping people all over the country. Tonight at the All-Star game they had Mary J. Blige come out and sing One Love to promote NBA Cares. The entire time she is singing there are pictures on two screens in the background showing players doing charity work for NBA Cares. These pictures would have really helped drive the point home about helping your community and how much the NBA is giving back. We did not see one of those pictures close enough to even identify the player in it, all we saw was Mary J. Blige singing. I think TNT and the NBA really missed an opportunity to show how much they were doing to help people and instead focused on promoting an artist.
