The Cool Kids

I first saw these guys on Gorilla vs. Bear and now I'm hooked. They mix some of the more popular styles of today's hip hop with an eighties twist. Deep Neptunes style bass and Texas syrup sippin slow hooks with a flow that to me feels like a mix between Rakim and The Clipse. It's hard to figure out how serious they take their music but if you just like good hip hop they are for you.
