Tegan and Sara Literally Run Into Jack White

Tegan and Sara rocked the main stage at Coachella this year and they documented their experience on a blog for Rolling Stone.  You can read all about their time at Coachella here.

At one point, they recount Jack White thanking them for letting him cover "Walking with a Ghost!"  Tegan writes that she was almost accosted by shirtless men in the VIP area and that she and Sara may form a band with the gals from The Breeders.  Tegan also confirmed that Pink WAS standing in front of us during their set.

Jack Johnson's Studio

There's been a lot of chatter online about how the Coachella fans are upset about the Jack Johnson headliner status at the upcoming festival. Well hopefully his new album will change a few minds when "Sleep Through The Static" is released next week. Also you have to at least admire the way he recorded his album - his studio was pretty much powered fully from solar panels. Coachella Kinda Sucks Dude!?

That's the overall feel you get when stopping by the message boards on the Coachella website. Every one's cool with Portishead and Roger Waters performing Dark Side of the Moon but Jack Johnson headlining day 1 has the loyal followers stunned. Nothing could keep us away though so your entire team of Gooseninja bloggers will be on site with updates throughout all three days, we just know we'll be running into a few more bikini clad sorority girls and shirtless frat boys than normal on Friday. Sundance 2008

Ol' MJ has been going through major depression after the end of the music festival season, but he is back. That's right, your festival czar has returned to his favorite non-music festival in the world -- Sundance. I've already lost my photographer (damn you, Collin Ferrel's entourage), though I will upload my photos just as soon as possible. We are into Day 3 and I will have reviews from Akon's party at Tao (Night 1) and the infamous Seattle Party at the Star Bar (last night). I just ran into Method Man at Albertson's, I was picking up a freezer pizza (like you care) and The Wackness star was maneuvering a grocery cart JUST LIKE A NORMAL PERRSON. Keep checking in and MJ will keep you abreast of all pertinent music information... Tonight is Adrian Grenier's performance with his band, the Honey Brothers, and E! is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is on her way to meet him for the show. The concert is a benefit for a wonderful organization called imawake.com, their mission is to plant 100 Million trees by 2020...Oh ya, and Paris will be there...I'll have photos and info for you ASAP! .
